With nearly three decades of experience in television and live event production, I have honed my skills as a Director and Technical Director across some of the most prestigious networks and events in the industry. My journey began in 1996, and since then, I have held pivotal roles in both news broadcasting and live sports coverage.
Current Roles:
CBS News Miami (2005-Present): As a Staff Director and Technical Director, I lead the technical direction for live broadcasts, including CBS Live shows and various other productions, ensuring seamless operation using state-of-the-art equipment like Sony ELC and Grass Valley Video Servers.
Miami Heat / NBA Properties Inc (2006-Present): I direct and manage live NBA games for Heat TV, delivering top-notch live sports coverage.
Miami Marlins (2023): As the Director/Technical Director, I oversee the production of Marlinsvision, bringing live baseball games to fans.
Bally Sports (2023): In this role, I manage the technical direction for pre and post-game coverage for the Miami Heat, Florida Panthers, and Miami Marlins.
Past Experience:
WSTM/WSTQ (NBC/UPN) Raycom Media (1998-2005): Directed and managed live news productions, special events, and sports coverage in Syracuse, NY, including the NCAA Final Four Rally Show and the America Remembers September 11th broadcast.
Time Warner Cable of Syracuse (1999-2001): Worked as an Associate Director/Technical Director for various live sporting events and parades, including the OZ Fest Parade.
WKTV (NBC) Smith Broadcasting Inc. (1996-1998): Directed live news broadcasts and major local events like the Boilermaker Road Race Marathon in Utica, NY.
My extensive background in directing and technical management across various live productions has equipped me with the expertise to handle high-pressure environments, ensuring flawless execution every time.
